Most creators see 108 views and think "small." I see 108 views and a 37.1% APV and I see a foundation. If you can hold 37% of people through an 8-minute Deep Dive, you aren't just making "videos." You’re building a high-performance engine.
That’s why I’m officially moving to a 5-video-per-week cadence. I realized that by posting daily, I was suffocating my own "Deep Dives." My library didn't have room to breathe. By pulling back to 5 videos, I'm creating a Binge-Watch Buffer. * The Strategy: 3 Shorts to hook new blood, 1 "800 Trap" to capture viral search, and 1 "Deep Dive" to build the $1,000/month dream.
But while my YouTube retention was skyrocketing, something weird happened on LinkedIn.
I checked my analytics and saw 60 impressions but only 23 members reached. At first, I thought the post flopped. Then I realized I had stumbled onto the LinkedIn "Social Graph" secret. Those 23 people didn't just see the post; they saw it an average of 2.6 times each.
LinkedIn wasn't "hiding" my content. It was drilling it into my inner circle. I’m currently testing a "Pattern Interrupt" in my LinkedIn comments to see if I can force the algorithm to "blast" those 23 people’s networks and 10x my reach by Tuesday.
I’ll be documenting the exact results of this LinkedIn "Social Graph" experiment in Friday's post. If you want to see if the Pattern Interrupt actually works (or if I just set my reach on fire), stay tuned.
check out my latest deep dive video.
Stay high-octane.
